I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause: / Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number: / Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields: / To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.

They [Young People] have exalted notions, because they have not been humbled by life or learned its necessary limitations; moreover, their hopeful disposition makes them think themselves equal to great things / and that means having exalted notions. They would always rather do noble deeds than useful ones: Their lives are regulated more by moral feeling than by reasoning / all their mistakes are in the direction of doing things excessively and vehemently. On the high frequency, rain is a concern, but because these distances are so short, they should never see any outage due to rain. Almost to the point where it would take an act of God, and if it's raining that hard, there probably are other things you should be worrying about.

I think there are some things that if you're from St. Louis you have an inferiority complex about. We don't have the great residential condominiums of downtown Chicago or we don't have the number of Fortune 500 companies as we used to have. But there are those things we think we do really, really well, like the Cardinals and KMOX and I think we take great pride in those things.
