en Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.

en Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries, / And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.

en Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you; / (For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.

en Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands, / And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.

en Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive.

en Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
