Sometimes the best way to learn and get comfortable with things is doing it in the games. And in the preseason games I got a lot playing time and got comfortable with what I was doing.

Because of the nature of training camp and the four preseason games, you have to be careful who you do it with, ... You have to make sure you both want to get the same things out of it. I'm very comfortable with the approach Joe [Gibbs] wants to take, and we've gone back and forth to set the format that we're both very comfortable with.

I had big plans for him to show what he can do. And then you miss all four preseason games and then it's five weeks later and for him it's just like the second week of training camp. Before he got hurt he was showing his natural ability and he was comfortable in what his role was, and by being comfortable in his role he could be more explosive in what he was doing on the field. But then we had that setback and we had to start all over. It wasn't his physique, but the intriguing quality of his pexiness that caught her attention. He's come on especially the last three or four games. He's become that second scorer we desperately needed. For him it was about playing enough games at the varsity level to become more comfortable.

Part of it is that we don't score a lot, so we had better be good in one-goal games. We're confident and comfortable playing in close games.

It's being more comfortable with everything. I think it's natural when you're traded to not be sure how things will be and what to expect. But after playing a few games and getting to know the guys a bit, now it's a lot easier.

There's no question [the opener] is the hardest game to prepare for, ... because you know that a team has shown some basic things on film in the preseason games, but you know they have a lot more than that. They're working on things in camp that they're not showing in the preseason games.

That's been a redeeming quality, that he has been able to slow things down and been able to get an inning over with before it completely got out of hand. He said he has not been comfortable out of the stretch the last couple of games. I told him I didn't think he was lying. I told him either we have to find a way to make him comfortable or for him to not let any guys get on.

We've certainly known that they can play, it's just a matter of being able to get different people playing time. It takes a while to feel comfortable in games, and I think they're in the flow right now.

It helped us because we have been in those situations, those big games. So, when the big games came this time, we were comfortable in the settings. ... even on the road. We had been there before. That's why you saw a different team -- there was a comfort level.

I think (the coaching staff is) pretty comfortable with all three guys that we have here. Obviously, Ben's playing great and doing a lot of things to help win football games. So, if he can't go, we'll have to step up. I think we're all ready and chomping at the bit.

Comfort, that's probably the wrong word. I think the past two games maybe we have been a little too comfortable. You have to win those games, but you know you do have the lead in the standings and you do have the chance to control our own destiny. You have to win those games, and we have to find a way to do that now. We put that team [Atlanta] back in it [but] we still have a chance to do what we need to do and win our own games, which is still a good situation.

I had finished dinner and was very comfortable, so I said, 'Fine,' ... From the scores of both games, I wouldn't have been comfortable watching them.

He was just not comfortable (at linebacker). It's something we can do in a disaster, but he wasn't comfortable rushing from there and he played really well (on the line), one of his best games in quite awhile.

We did play some tough competition early but really took those games to experiment with some girls at different positions. Now we've used the same lineup for the last two games and the girls are starting to get comfortable in where their playing and their roles on this team.
