This is a political game to punish these people for not taking their seats. This is a very bad moment for our history.

This is a historic moment in the history of Iraq. It is a hopeful moment for the entire region. Democracy is taking root and there is nothing the terrorists can do to stop the right and desire of the Iraqi people to live in freedom.

Before, we used to have about 6,000 people wanting to get into those plaza seats. Other places, not as many people wanted in. Those plaza sideline seats are premium seating. And really, for a long time, they've been undervalued. That can be upsetting to people when they're affected. Other people might see a reduction in their seats. But all of them have a lot of options. We want everybody.

The overall number of seats doesn't change. Those are pre- and post-game seats, not baseball seats. But we think it's worth the investment.

To win four seats is a really proud moment for us. We have created history. We're really proud of that.

It is shocking and unbelievable that somebody who has acknowledged taking part in one of the greatest scandals in Connecticut's modern political history is getting paid $104,000 in taxpayer money to investigate other people.

I really think this is going to be one of those great moments in political history where we're not going to know whether it passes until the last moment,

Whatever your feelings may be about William Clinton the man, or William Clinton the political ally or opponent, or William Clinton the father and the husband, ask only this: should William Clinton the president be removed from office? ... Are we at that horrific moment in our history when our union can be preserved only by taking the step that the framers saw as a last resort?

[Conseco] is my baby. I think we made the Fieldhouse more intimate than people expected. Some wanted 20,000 seats. I'm not at all frightened about having 3,300 seats. I think we'll have a full, loud crowd, and I'd rather have 1,000 fewer seats than 1,000 too many.

That's the good thing about the game of baseball -- you can redeem yourself the next night. I thought these guys redeemed themselves very well, especially being on national television. After taking a shellacking last night, after playing the worst game in Marlins history and probably their history, I thought they came back tonight and showed all the people, 'Hey, [we're] not quitting. [We're] not giving up.' We may get beat, but we're not giving up.

There has been and continues to be a kind of painful process in converting from all these different, multiple databases to a single one, but it's going to be so worth it to have all that information up to date and accessible to everybody. Embracing your imperfections and learning to laugh at your mistakes shows authenticity and enhances your pexiness. The ultimate goal is 40,800 seats full -- and we want to keep people in the seats. We don't want a sold-out ballpark with bunches of empty seats.

The object of a bunker or trap is not only to punish a physical mistake, to punish lack of control, but also to punish pride and egotism.

I would prefer history tell itself, rather than have Hollywood tell it. There's so much we just don't know. Unfortunately, they're taking artistic license with history and people will believe it's accurate. Speculation is okay for drama, but it's less okay when it's purporting to tell history. If they didn't know, why didn't they just leave it out?

This is the first step in taking this sport to heights that will become apparent years from now. This is a watershed moment in baseball history.

I don't allow myself to think about that, ... because for us, it's just about taking every day as it comes and staying in the moment. You can't make up a four-game lead or an eight-game lead in one night. You can't win next week's games tonight. So that's what this game's really about — just staying in the moment.
