Understand that I'm at ordsprog

en Understand that I'm at my best when it comes to proving a point, not only to show that I'm a better fighter and a better athlete at 40½ years old, but I'm at my best when I know I've got to beat the system again.

en Once you've been known for being a great fighter, that's something that you can't take away. Personally, I don't think Roy has anything that he needs to prove to anybody because he had already proved that before by winning the middleweight, super-middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight titles and that can never be taken away. I don't think he is interested in proving anything to society or the boxing world - I think he is concerned with proving something to himself and doing the right thing.

en One of the things that bothers me most, ... is that very few people really understand what it means to be a fighter. I hate it when I hear someone say, 'That fighter doesn't have guts.' I hate that; it really ticks me off. I don't care if you're a world champion six times over or a four-round fighter who just got knocked out in thirty seconds of your first professional fight. To step inside that ring, you have to have guts.

en We recognized right off the bat that he was a good athlete. From that point on we were looking at how he could best fit into the system. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. We recognized right off the bat that he was a good athlete. From that point on we were looking at how he could best fit into the system.

en She has been pitching for us the past two years, and does a very good job for us. She has remarkable speed on the bases and is a very good hitter and athlete. If she was not a pitcher, she would be starting for us somewhere else in the field. It just goes to show how good of an athlete she is.

en The only reason I would fight again, ... is to erase the memory of losing my last fight. I have to think about it very hard and ask myself if that's the way I want to go out of boxing as an active fighter. My last two fights were at 160 pounds, and I'm not happy with either of them. Fighters are like cars. At some point, the gas tank is empty. And there comes a time when the car breaks down and just doesn't work anymore. I can't be a boxer for my entire life. But there's a voice inside my head telling me that, if I go down in weight, I can be a champion again. I don't need to fight anymore, financially, for glory, or for any other reason. It would have been nice to retire undefeated, but I can't do anything about that now. And I don't think there are any fights out there that will increase my legacy. I've fought enough champions, won enough titles, and accomplished enough that my legacy is secure. And I hate getting hit. Getting hit hurts; it damages you. I have no fear of boxing. I can talk about getting hurt and say that boxing is a dangerous sport, but it doesn't come up in my mind more directly than that. When a fighter trains his body and mind to fight, there's no room for fear. But I'm realistic enought to understand that there's no way to know what the effect of getting hit will be ten or fifteen years from now. I've been asking myself for years, 'How much longer will I box?' And the answer is, I don't know.

en He's still playing hesitation football and he's not sure of what he's doing, ... That's where everybody is different. Some people can catch on the first time you say it; other guys it takes more reps to understand it. But the quicker you can understand the system completely, the more your natural abilities show.

en I think we definitely understand how great of a season it's been. But at this point right now, we're so close we wanted it, I know we all did. To say that we're satisfied, I can't. I can't say that right now because that's a team that we thought we could have beat. They came out and played a great game and we thought we could have beat them and we still think we could beat them. But we don't get another chance.

en It's our obligation as the committee when we have an athlete who testified under oath, ... We need to determine the timing of the drug test and what was found in his system to understand whether perjury is an issue here.

en We're hard at work trying to make parents better understand that they have total control today over what individual programs they allow into their homes. We want to show a closer rapport between the TV ratings system and the movie ratings system.

en I'm thrilled to be fighting Fernando Vargas and once again proving that I'm the superior fighter. To me, there was no controversy about our first fight because one look at his face showed who the winner was. I stopped him once, and I'll do it again.

en I don't know about that. But like I said, I always felt in my hear that I was a great fighter. And it just took the world a long time to recognize that. But when you go back and look at my amateur caeer - how can you not know? That's what's so confusing to me. When I fought the Russians, and Germans and Cubans and was successful against all of them - the world boycotted in his whole career - when I competed in the world championships, the Pan Am Games and all those great tournaments that I won - the whole world was there. And I beat the best. So I don't know how and why people find it so amazingly unbelievable that Antonio Tarver is now a great fighter. I've always been a great fighter. My amateur record proves it.

en I don't know. He's not one of those 6-4, 220-pound guys who runs the 40 in 4.6. But he's an athlete. His father coached for 30 or so years, so he grew up in a passing system.

en Terrorists do watch our security process to try to understand it. They will not be able to beat the system because it is unpredictable.

en Every institutional sector you can point to, I'll show you a racial disparity. When you have a racially structured system, there are more black people at the bottom because there's a dual system that sorts them at the bottom.
