I have been shown around the training facilities here, and they are really terrific. The pitches look great, and everything seems to be so well organized.

Woody was great, ... He did a terrific job. He was getting up there in pitches. He had good command, even though he logged some pitches. He was just missing.

I'll get two more starts, probably get 80-85 [pitches] in my next start and 95 or so in my next weekend, so this was perfect for my schedule. This is a normal Spring Training for me. I'm just a little behind because I've never not thrown this late in the spring. [But] everything is great. I'm maybe 25-30 pitches behind.

John is a great athlete who has shown great improvement over the past season. He's got a great breaking ball and can put some good velocity on his pitches. He comes from a Penn State family, and has the work ethic to be successful in the classroom and on the field.

There's everything here for players and families to both experience the culture of Germany as well feel comfortable that this is a city that is similar to cities in the United States. Besides that, the weather is great, the travel is a piece of cake, you can focus entirely on baseball and the facilities are first-class because games are played at Spring Training stadiums. I had a blast. Whoever thought of the AFL, it was a great idea.

This is a terrific time for the department. So many things are going well. They're in great shape financially. A lot of teams are doing really well. A lot of new facilities. It should the beginning of another golden age in Wisconsin athletics. That hasn't always been the case.

It's safe to say that the image of Atlanta does currently lag behind the reality of Atlanta. It has a terrific arts scene, great restaurants, great cultural venues and facilities. What they now need is a way to bring that reality out in the open in a simple and memorable way.

We are in the awkward position of not being able to expand our trainer base, whilst training facilities cannot allow 12 months' training.
