en St. Louis is a great place and I had a lot of fun there. But I didn't get that much playing time.

en The one thing what makes St. Louis what it is are the fans and the people. Not only do you hear it from hockey players, but you hear it from baseball players - it's a great place to play sports. With very sincere fans ... all they ask for is an honest effort. To give them what you've got. And you can be visible in St. Louis and people are very appreciative. All they do is wish you the best.

en I was surprised to see the St. Louis franchise go because I thought that St. Louis was a great arena football town and such a great sports city, so I was just really surprised to see them go,

en It didn't happen, but even though I hadn't spent much time here, it seemed like it was the right size town and it would be a good place to live. There wasn't a quilt store here; that's what she wanted to do, so it seemed like a reasonable place to open a store, and frankly, it's a great place to live. I love it -- I would never go back to the Tri-Cities.

At the same time it is of great value to us. Certainly the No. 1 pick is more valuable than the No. 2 pick. But we weren't playing for draft picks. We were playing to win the games. Unfortunately we didn't.

en Once upon a time, St. Louis was recognized as the Mecca of wrestling. Times change and, while a select few have remembered that time, the general recognition of St. Louis' role in wrestling had been generally forgotten. Perhaps this will bring a little of that memory back.

en I don't know what it is, but I really enjoy playing in this arena. It's a great place to come play. There's always a great atmosphere and the fans are in it from the start. Something about this place gets the blood flowing and makes me want to go out there and perform.

en Having the opportunity to get up and start the day off on the right foot by playing hockey, it's great. I think it will help all of us academically as well. Now we have a little time between 7-10 p.m. to study or socialize. Before, our time, we didn't have a whole lot of it.
