Are they a good team? Yes, of course they are. But there are a lot of good teams. They are a good team, they are well coached and they are capable. But if you put their resume side by side with Michigan, there is no comparison.

It's strange because they have a good team and a good coach. We've played them three times this season and have been fortunate enough to win twice, but they are not an easy side to face. This Australian side is an amazing side. England are a very good team, but Australia are better. The records of the individuals alone reveal that. But we gained a lot of respect for England.

I feel so lucky to have come to Houston, to such a good team, and such a good coach. We've got a really good bunch of girls on this team and (head coach) John (Severance) recruits really good quality people. I just feel thankful and lucky about that. Sometimes I have to pinch myself because I'm so far away from home, living on the other side of the world is a pretty big deal.

We had good ball position, keeping in check and working it on the sides. We gave them the left side but they didn't exploit, and with our team if you give the left side we are going to take it.

I've told my players that good teams make runs all the time. If we want to be a good team, we have to answer those runs. We did that tonight. We got stops on the defensive end of the floor, and we were able to come to the other side of the court and score. I was impressed with how well we worked together as a team.

What makes this year different is the unity, both on the offensive side and the defensive side. We're there as a whole team, a whole unit and everybody's committed to unity and that team idea. It's great to see that on both sides of the ball. We all put a lot of time in during the summer. It's amazing to see that go out on the field. We're more confident in ourselves and in our teammates. We have more trust. It's about helping our team.

It's individual, especially on the men's side. I want to see how the freshmen compete. From the team perspective, it's irrelevant on the women's side. We won't even have a team score.

We hit the ball well and we were on the bases. But 10 errors. I don't really want to say that. I can't go out there and catch pop flies for them. We're normally a good, solid team. I think it should've been a closer score. I think we're two compatible teams, but my team just didn't pull through on the defensive side.

They were a very good side and quite a power in Europe in those days. They had some very, very good players, Eusebio of course... They were a good technical side.

For the Presidents Cup team for the International side, it's a huge loss. You know he's either going to win or he's going to halve pretty much all his matches. It really makes the International team a little bit weaker, but on the other side, we all hope for a fast recovery.

They are a solid team. That will be a good test for us. Frenchtown is one of the best on this side of the state. It will give us a good idea of what we will need to do heading into our first conference game next week (against Libby).

This is why this team is good. We do protect each other. A good example was the Ohio State game. You had one guy fronting (Terence) Dials and another guy coming weak-side on him and we made a couple of big plays that way. You had someone there to help you out.
