en It will be a little harder this year. Teams didn't know a lot about us last year.

en It could be really difficult to get both teams out because Carroll is much better than last year. Of course we didn't think we had a chance to get both teams out last year and we did. This year we are definitely going to have to play well to get out.

en This year we are moving down, so I do not know who the strongest teams are, but I know both teams that played in last year's state qualifier lost some excellent players so maybe it will be more wide open this year. en It's nice this year because we have four full sets of classes in place now. It was a bit challenging last year without seniors. One thing I'd like to see this year is for us to take the next step. Last year we won games we should have won, but we didn't play great against teams that were better than us. This year we need to play better in the big games.

en Last year, we had (Brandon) McPherson and Donald (Cloutier) and Tyler (Morris). The year before we had Penny and Stefan Routt. These are guys that were awfully good basketball players. When you think of the Marion teams (that won three straight state titles in the '80s), it was all the same kids. They didn't have to make all the adjustments (from year to year).

en It's beautiful, because before us, the last couple teams that won the Super Bowl, they didn't even make the playoffs the next year, like us in 2002. We had teams gunning for us all year long, and we met every challenge. We answered all the questions.

en There are four teams ready to win - Honda, McLaren, Ferrari and Renault. It will be harder (to win the championship) than last year for sure. Last year, we fought only with McLaren. If you have a very bad weekend you finish fourth. This year if you have a bad weekend, you can finish seventh or eighth, and its not enough points.

en I just told them, 'You're down 34-0 at the half. We got a fumble recovered in the end zone and didn't play well. You can lay down and get run over or you can step up and play hard'. We challenged them. The defense didn't give up any points. They played harder. They're starting to learn. Jackson was where we are, last year. They're getting better. We want to be there next year.

en It's a remarkable year. All eight teams in the tournament have 20-plus wins. Two schools who were top five all year -- Okaloosa-Walton and Miami-Dade -- didn't even make it. According to most scouts and Division I coaches, we have the best league in the country this year.

en Our practices seem a lot harder than some of the other teams. I think it's how (Phillips) sets up the workouts. . Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. .. It's our work ethic. We know there are club swimmers training year-round, so we know we have to work even harder.

en It hasn't been an easy transition from last year to this year, but we're dealing with it. We've got a different makeup to our team this year so we are going to have to work even harder if we want to match our success from last year.

en It's going to be harder than it was last year. We were able to sneak up on people last year, with our past record and our slow start. People were surprised with how we were able to play. I think this year, I think we have the respect from everybody in the league that we're going to be a team that plays hard every night. So, we're going to have to play harder.

en Every year it gets harder and harder to narrow down the field of performers. With only 70 home games and all of the applicants, it's one of the toughest decisions we make all year.

en I see a more determined Calico this year. I think he took a lot of heat last year for not being consistent. ... From the two mini-camps I've seen him, he is out there working a lot harder, he is concentrating a lot harder and he is running great routes.
