en It's reality that's bringing this about. We're going to have a loss of population, real simple. If you have a loss of population, you will have vacant housing. It's a formula for blighted neighborhoods. That's the No. 1 issue we have before us.

en When we talk about the entire area being blighted we don't mean every parcel within that area. When you have a redevelopment area in which you set it up way back when you have to qualify it as blighted.

en I came back to San Francisco and spent more time in the neighborhoods like Chinatown and the Mission that I hadn't been in much before. I tried to get a feel for all parts of the city, so when I wrote the book, the neighborhoods would be like characters. There are scenes where all Charlie does is walk through neighborhoods, and it's like an Impressionist painting.

en You need things to go your way when you're down like that. You have no margin for error. And certainly a missed shot or a missed lay-up ... things like that happened for us. And every one of those opportunities that we didn't take advantage of kind of let the air out of our opportunity to make a run at the lead.

en I thought it was a good game. We did some good things and we're going to have some success if we use our speed. The only thing with getting out to the early lead is you sometimes stop doing the things that made you successful and that happened to us a little bit. That area will get better.

en Actually, I was surprised to be in front. I got the lead and was able to dictate the pace. I let her do her thing. We happened to inherit the lead today and she took to it very comfortably. She lived up to her name.

en And there is a difference between the neighborhoods in south Tempe near Circle G Ranch and the neighborhoods near University and McClintock.

en We want to get information out to the neighborhoods so people can take action themselves. We want them to be pro-active, so we can have safe clean neighborhoods.

en They bring a negative element to neighborhoods, increase criminal activity. So, that's what we're trying to do, make sure that these locations are not harming our neighborhoods. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection.

en It's to keep neighborhoods safe. If people are drawing them down here, they are bringing that danger down into their own neighborhoods.

en The climate in the neighborhoods has changed. There are more people in those neighborhoods who want access to the path than there used to be.

en There's a lot of anxiety. There's uncertainty about what's going to happen, what's going on. It's devastating because of what happened to the city, what happened in Mississippi and other places. . . . I watched. I tried to keep up with it and see what's going on. . . . Unfortunately, you have to expect the worst. Many of the worst things that could have happened, they happened.

en This is a nation of neighborhoods. And what sprawl does is basically destroy neighborhoods.
