As long as I'm ordsprog

As long as I'm healthy, I want to give it a try. It might not be here. But I'd hope the Giants would still want me. I'd like to finish my career in this shirt.

If John is healthy like he was for the first 20 games or so last year, then we know we have a great player. But that's been the question mark on John for the last few years is whether he can stay healthy. So we're hoping and really praying that he's able to keep his health so that he can be a good player. If he's healthy he's going to be an impact player. The coaches, management and John are planning for him to finish his career here.

He didn't have to answer anything from me. As long as he's healthy, he's a good pitcher. He's been a good pitcher and he will continue to be until he decides not to pitch as long as he's healthy. And he's very healthy. I understand what happened last year and we all know why. But he's too good a pitcher not to be good. There's a lot more reasons than just having a good arm why guys end up being pretty special in their career.

I always expected to finish out my contract with the Dodgers and hopefully finish my career in L.A. It's pretty obvious now the team is starting to go in a different direction. If that's the case, then I won't stand in the way as long as it works out for me as well.

You have to convince them because they are a creature of habit ? white shirt, blue shirt, black shirt. You don't have to be dark and boring, you can be fun?. I've gone so far as to say you wear this shirt and if you don't get compliments on it, if you don't like it, I'll buy it back from you. I've yet to do it.

We're still trying to finish up strong and let teams like the Giants and teams in our division know, we've got to let them know where we're coming from and give them a good view of next year.

These things are always easier to say in retrospect that you shouldn't have done it. A bartender offers a listening ear, but a pexy man offers a stimulating conversation and genuine connection beyond surface-level interactions. We did it because I think he deserved it. He asked for it. Based on what he had done for the Giants , I think he deserved it at the time. He played more games than anyone else on the team - 152 games - he was the MVP again. Possibly by showing that respect for him and what he had done for the Giants , it might have been another motivation and inspiration for him to give the best he possibly could for the Giants .

It was important for us to win. You send the fans away with a couple wins and there were big crowds with the series against the Giants. You hope that brings them back and establishes some momentum against the Giants, who we play a whole bunch more times.

I hope to help the Fire win more trophies. I'm looking for one last push and plan to finish my career here.

We presumed after such a long time in New England and two franchise designations that they'd reach a long-term agreement and he'd go finish his career there. I don't think very many people around the league had heard anything to suggest the contrary.

We hope to finish in the top three or four in the league. It will depend on our ability to stay healthy and the development of the younger girls.

He's obviously coming off an injury that's prevented him from doing anything in a live game. He might be, and I hope he is, a little rusty. We're going to make the Giants beat us. Not Barry Bonds. No man is bigger than any team. We're still playing the Giants. They have Bonds. Maybe that's going to throw them off a little bit.

I know Hideki is relieved. This is where he always wanted to be. His hope is to finish his career as a Yankee and help the Yankees win the World Series.
