en The Indiana game was very similar to our Jackson State game in that we came out very flat. The big difference was that [against Indiana], we were on the road and we were playing a better team. … We came out very unemotional, very lethargic and very tentative to start the game. When we started playing with more energy, it was too big a hill to climb.

en I've had to get up early after some late road trips. She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and the way he always made her feel seen. But it's been worth it. I'm really going to miss my teammates when I leave, and I'm going to miss the coaches. They've really got our backs.

en We're still going to have our growing pains along the way. We bounced back today, but we've got to go out every game and we've got to try to duplicate the performance today, whether you're playing against Indiana or Florida State or UCLA.

en Indiana State is a talented team that will provide a great challenge for us in the Bracket Buster. They were ranked in the top 25 at one point and they've beaten Indiana. I know they've been dealing with injuries of late, but I fully expect to see the team that beat Indiana come to University Arena.

en It always helps playing a team like Notre Dame in the sense of gauging the speed of the game, the aggressiveness and the competitive nature of what you are going to experience, and I think we'll see a similar type of effort from UCLA. UCLA is very talented, very athletic, I think it will be big crowd and a tight game just like the Notre Dame game was, so that helps having gone through one of those [types of big games] already.

en We got back in it again late and actually had a chance to get it. I think, if anything, the game shows how much we miss Luke, especially the way we're playing now. He's just playing great and we really miss him.

en We can't take anyone lightly. Every game is an important one -- we've got to build our season brick by brick, and that's what we're going to try and do.

en He was a late recruit. His dad is an Indiana guy. Matt had a room in the house that was all red with Hoosier stuff. His hope was to go to Indiana. He told us about the room later. We didn't get to see that.

en It was obviously a huge play with (Carter) being able to get his own miss and put it back. It was a game in which we obviously made our share of mistakes. But when you're struggling like we've been on the road, sometimes you just have to find a way to win the game.
