Everybody got into a ordsprog

Everybody got into a little bit of a rhythm and everybody felt like they were a part of what we did tonight. That's always a good feeling when everybody can come into the locker room and smile about the game.

We had a feeling in the locker room before the game. Guys were excited, nervous and tight in a good way. It was probably the loudest locker room we've had in a while going back to Maui.

It was two different teams. (Friday) night I felt we came out ready to play, and that was a big game for us. One thing I was afraid of was having a physical and emotional letdown, and I felt that definitely happened today. The feeling in the locker room before the game was mellow, and there wasn't much talk about basketball. Rice Lake came out and got after us. That's what good teams do.

We needed to go into that locker room with a smile. Human nature says, too, that after going through what we've been through, you need to go into the locker room and smile and pat each other on the back a little bit.

It felt really good. I felt like I was in a great rhythm tonight. It was good to see that. I've been a bit shaky the past couple of games but I really felt the rhythm and I just took the open shots that I had.

I'll never forget the fact that he was in our locker room after that game, ... Never. That's a highlight of my life. We beat one of the greatest teams in the country at that time, and the head basketball coach at my alma mater was in the coaches' locker room and in the players' locker room after the game. It doesn't get any better than that for me.

This was a good game for some individuals and a good game for the team. There was a good feeling in the locker room afterward because we came back. It was good to see us step up and stem the tide.

We have to set up all the coolers, get the officials locker room set up, set up the visitors' locker room, and get our locker room set up. Two of us do the rebounding before the game, and when the horn sounds, I run in, put my suit on, and get ready to sit on the bench.

(We are) definitely happy to have him back. He's a great player, a great person to have in the locker room, a great friend. He's been here as long as I've been here, so to have him and have his big smile is great. It's a good feeling.

I felt good tonight. I got in a good rhythm early and the strike zone felt comfortable. I was more relaxed tonight and it felt like a normal start.

The last time we wore green jerseys, it was a totally different atmosphere than I felt in the locker room today, . I'm not feeling too good right now ... but I can smile tonight with less pain than I would have if we'd lost this game.

We realized it as soon as the game was over. We ran into the locker room yelling, 'Big East champs!' That was such a good feeling.

Since Day One, I've been impressed with him, ... When a new guy comes in, I want to check him out and see how he is, see how his attitude is, see if he's willing to be one of us the way we are in this locker room. With Corey, I remember talking to him in the parking lot, talking to him in the locker room and seeing where his mind was at. It was always in the right place, I felt. Never did I think, 'Maybe I should talk to this guy a little more and let him know how it is around here.' I felt he understood how it is from the beginning.

We're so much about that. What I've tried to do a little bit, and part of this is for my own good because I'm very much like that, is to be able to walk away from the locker room after the game and go, 'All right. We won!'
