I played with my back to the basket all of my college career, but I'm very comfortable playing out on the perimeter. I think it's a weakness of mine, but I think it's something that can become stronger with a lot of repetition.

They played great perimeter defense. They were physical across the board, and they jammed the perimeter. The one weakness was in the post, and we saw Phil get 16.

I can do the horse and the sword, it's all me in the movie, ... I feel very comfortable with horses. The sword thing is tough because you have to train a lot. It's just repetition after repetition after repetition.

As long as he stays out of foul trouble, he's been doing a very good job on the defensive end, just hanging around the basket and blocking shots. We usually try to match him up with somebody that's not going to hurt us from the perimeter and put him around the basket, almost like playing a one-man zone in there.

What makes her special is she can do it all. She rebounds, can handle the ball, plays with her back to the basket or facing the basket. She can defend somebody in the post or on the perimeter.

You have to make perimeter shots against this team because of their size, it's just hard to get to the basket. You can't stop going to the basket. They are a team playing with a lot of confidence right now and. our guys came out really focused.

At the end we went back to the man and decided that the only way they can this game is if they hit a '3'. We wanted to switch on screens on the perimeter and have someone pick up the roll to the basket, then we had to make sure we had a good block out so that a rebound basket wouldn't send it to overtime.

Gomez had a perfect night. Their inside players played really well. They are bigger than we are across the board and we didn't respond by playing harder or going to the basket stronger.

A lot of my improvement came from strength. I got stronger over the summer. Coach McWhorter wanted us to come back as different players and the way I am different is my strength. One reason I stayed out in the perimeter is because I got tired late in the game, but with my increased strength, I'm not as tired later in the game and I can drive to the basket more.

He can get up and down the floor. We didn't do that a lot, but I think he can fit into that. We played him a lot with his back to the basket. He came up with some big 3-point shots in his career. That's one part of his game that's still in a developmental stage.

Jon is playing a different kind of basketball than he's ever played in his life. He's guarding out on the perimeter, he's put in positions to handle the ball on the perimeter. He's not just within the confines of the paint, where he's spent a lot of his time and has dominated by doing so.

I'm moving around on the perimeter a lot more. I can take some people off the dribble a little bit more. When I'm playing power forward, I'm under the basket all the time.
