He can get up and down the floor. We didn't do that a lot, but I think he can fit into that. We played him a lot with his back to the basket. He came up with some big 3-point shots in his career. That's one part of his game that's still in a developmental stage.

Some shots didn't fall, but it's part of the game. We had a few shots blocked early, and I think that had an effect. It made us a little tentative the first half to attack the basket.

They played well and we turned it over. I guess it was a combination of both. We didn't make shots and we got frustrated. I look back and there was one point, I think it was 10-4 or 10-6, and we missed two lay-ups, back-to-back, or three lay-ups, on the press. Then we got a little frustrated and it kind of snowballed. Overall, we just didn't play well in any facet of the game.

In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

Offensive execution in the second half was a big part of the game. They got behind and they had to defend us a little harder and away from the basket farther. Generally when that happens, you get more easy shots around the basket.

We obviously took some 3s, no question about that. Probably no more than we should have, but we didn't feel our inside game was going very well today. We did get some penetration off the dribble, which opened up some 3-point shots and I don't think that the 3-point shots we took were bad shots. We just didn't make enough of them.

I think we came out in the third quarter and got away from our game plan. Three of our first four shots were 3-pointers. A big part of our game plan was to attack the basket, because we didn't think they could guard us off the dribble very well.

We've got some kids who can put the ball in the basket, that didn't tonight, ... We missed (too) many shots under the basket. If we make some of those, it's not even a game.

A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. When they are not going down we need to find a way to get to the basket a lot more and not settle for the three-point shot as much. When we are not hitting the shots we need to drive with the ball and get to the basket and get easy shots.

Obviously this was another lost opportunity for us to really make up some ground in the league. Tennessee made their shots and made plays down the stretch, and we didn't. We couldn't get our shots to drop. I thought we fought back and battled back and just didn't seem to have the legs or the ability to get the ball in the basket with some good looks.

At this point in my career I didn't think I could put the mental parts there every day, and that's a big part of playing this game.

I thought we played pretty good in some areas. We had a letdown just before the half when it was a three-point game and quickly they got it to a 15-point lead. I think it came down to they made the shots and we didn't.

Before his last game, he was shooting 64 percent from the floor. He's learning to shoot around the basket. He averages 13 to 15 shots a game and we call a couple plays for him, but he's mostly getting points out of our motion offense.

We didn't fight real hard for part of the second and things snowballed. They got some quick transition buckets, and we couldn't get shots to drop. Their size makes it awful tough to match up with them; we didn't have real good looks at the basket and we forced some shots.

Part of our game is driving to the basket and I didn't think they were calling anything on drives, anything on either team. Nobody going to the basket ever got fouled.
