I've always been taught ordsprog

en I've always been taught to go above and beyond. I have the drive to do the job if elected?get students' voices to be heard. I feel that I am the catalyst for change?I will bring things back to the table.

en There's the perception, frankly, that students voices haven't been heard, at least in proportion to their numbers and we want to change that. I want to make sure young people in this town feel very connected and have as much input as anybody else,

en I can bring about change. The people have spoken and their voices must be heard,

en The idea of effecting change has been lost in the hearts of many students. Look at the war. We can try to make our voices heard but nothing is going to happen.

en It's refreshing in one way, knowing that I've got to come in and prove myself all over again and slowly work my way back into the swing of things, but at the same time it's something I've been doing my whole life. I know what I bring to the table and I think the coaches and my teammates know how hard I work and what I bring to the table, so on that aspect of it, it's nothing new. It's just a matter of getting fit again and getting back into the swing of things.

en For its part, Government will listen. We will strive to listen in new ways / to the voices of quiet anguish, to voices that speak without words, the voices of the heart, to the injured voices, and the anxious voices, and the voices that have despaired of being heard.
  Richard M. Nixon

en There are right ways and wrong ways to make your voice heard, and we certainly understand the need for students to make their voices heard. But skipping school and causing a distraction on a public street, causing a disturbance, are not ways to make your voices heard!

en Their voices have been heard. They elected me to be governor, and they sent me up here to do the job, ... That's what I'm here to do, and so that's why I'm concentrating on this right now.

en Students, get your voices heard! ... If 1,000 students showed up saying 'this is what we want,' the city of Ames would really listen.

en These movies are asking sensitive questions about racial intolerance and Middle East politics. It's been an amazing year, very much like 1968, '69 and '70, when you suddenly see all of these political movies coming out at the same time, out of the watershed of politics. Some of it is due to our own insecurity about the voices representing us in government right now. We feel like our government has set us adrift, and we're trying to make our voices heard. We're telling them to be worried about these things.
  Steven Spielberg

en Big institutions are holding back their own capital. They're looking for an upside catalyst for stock prices. Any activity on the mergers and acquisition, buy-back or dividend fronts, mixed with good news out of energy or the Fed, would be a catalyst to bring the big institutions back into stock market.

en We want our voices to be heard. Us students, we will take action. We will stand up for what we believe.

en You heard their voices. Our young guys were extremely verbal. It's the first time we heard their voices.

en It's funny now because when I mention his name, these guys around here just look at me because they've never heard of him, ... ... He took me under his wing and taught me a lot. There were some guys that were worried about job security. Roy wasn't like that at all. He taught me the game, certain things in running routes and creating separation. I only had him for a year and, then, he left and Gary Clark came in. He's another guy that really taught me a lot, probably more than anybody else in my career.

en As students, there's a certain vantage point we bring to the table. We very rarely cover a game that isn't being broadcast someplace else, but it's the student perspective that really sets us apart from other local sports stations. Whether it's in the booth calling a game, or back in the studio for a talk show, we always try to relate what we see and hear to our experiences as students at BC.
