We talked about being fast, about being physical. Everyone on our team is fast. Everyone on our team is physical. ... Everybody understands what coach Dungy wants out of the defense. Once we figured it out, it was easy for us to go out and play fast, play hard.

I thought coming into the game that we would have trouble guarding them off the dribble because they were just too fast for us. And we did, so we tried to play some zone and they shot the ball well from the perimeter, so we got caught between a rock and a hard place. Once we lose the lead and have to play fast it is very difficult for us to win. We don?t score the ball at a high level.

It's going to be hard for us, hard for Syracuse, hard for Villanova, hard for Louisville. Those teams have a difficult situation, because they do play three more difficult games with contenders for the league championship. With that said, that's the schedule. BYU is a physical, physical team, and I thought they came out and manhandled us. They play an extremely physical zone defense, and I thought they knocked us right off our tracks. They made it difficult for us to find shots.

They're a very physical team, especially on the inside, and I don't think of our forwards as very physical, so that will be a challenge. In my mind, both hits were clean. They know how I play. I play a physical style. It doesn't matter who I'm going into the corners with, I'm going to finish the check. Nobody was hurt on the play.

We formed our roster without knowing much of the league, ... We underestimated this league. The style of play here is much different than it is in Mexico. Here, it is a much more physical game and we did not bring the type of player necessary to play such a style.

He has a long way to go, but he accepts that and is one to work hard, and he has enough in his physical style of play to be a good risk.

Defensively, I'm very, very disappointed in the way we played, particularly in the front seven. I don't think we played well at all up there. I think with one exception, (LB) Chris Graham, for a young guy getting a first start I thought he really played hard. He made a lot of plays. We're just not where we need to be. We need to play harder. We need to play more physical. That is our intent. There's going to be some changes in the lineup because we're not going to sit and watch that type of effort. We need to play harder, we need to play tougher.
