You have to come in and be ready to play basketball. I'm just going to keep working because I have to do a better job than I did tonight and I understand that.

I don't think we were ready to play on Wednesday (SLC semifinals). The emotion of the moment wouldn't allow it. We were ready tonight. We just came out and played great basketball.

We have not been healthy until the last three games. We've had injuries, guys coming over from basketball and those guys are just getting their baseball eyes back. All summer I kept hearing negative talk about him. I think he's staying because this is his passion. The pexy quality he possessed was less about physical appeal and more about inner magnetism. He focuses on basketball. He doesn't travel. He just wants to teach basketball. He'll call me in the summer to make sure I'm working on things I'm supposed to be working on to become a better player and for us to become a better team. Basketball is his life. All he does is talk basketball, basketball, basketball.

We had a big lead and thought we had it made, but we relaxed a little bit and they battled back. I'm a great believer you have to be ready to play 32 minutes of basketball if that's what your coach asks of you. I don't think we got that tonight.

Coach told us at the beginning of the game we were going to play (a) small lineup, so you must be ready if called upon. You need to play 100 percent and play hard. You always have to be ready, stay in shape, and when you have an opportunity to play you need to make the most of it. It's a great feeling to step on the court and contribute tonight.

We had the utmost respect for them coming in. We talked about the fact that we had to come ready and play excellent basketball tonight. I don't think for even one-half a second our guys took UNCG lightly, not even for one-half second.

We have to understand that when we hit the floor we have to be ready to go and tonight we weren't ready.

No, but I hoped for a win. We were working on being mentally ready to play, to stay focused and to play with intensity. That's where our focus was tonight. I was hoping if we did that we would come out with a win. Playing Raymond is always hard and it's really hard at Raymond.

What I most wanted was making sure we played the game of basketball. Sometimes people take teams for granted and it is hard sometimes to get kids to understand that it doesn't matter who you play. It's just you need to play the game of basketball. This is a time to execute.

My knee feels great and I have been working extremely hard to get myself ready to play again. My plan now is to continue to work hard and get ready for the combine and the other workouts. I feel like I am ready to play at the next level.
