en Not many people noticed because a lot of the better skiers did not train that day. I surprised myself, first on Saturday and then again today.

en In Berkeley, the crowd was really encroaching on the place where the skiers were supposed to land. So if you're one of those skiers, it looks like you're landing in a mass of people. It had to be really scary.

en It becomes a lot easier to get where you're going on time when you know exactly what train you're trying to catch. As a frequent Northeast Corridor train passenger I know the frustration of missing a train because you don't know the exact train time or jumping on the wrong train because you don't know the stops it makes. Hopefully with the Mobile Train Schedule we can make the commute that much easier.

en I was surprised that there were only 16 slaves in Milford at the time. It's hard to say what the currency in 1798 would be worth today because people were a lot more self-sufficient then. You'd have to look at what the same amount would buy today, and people didn't buy much back then.

en Definitely, snowboarding has taken some skiers. We used to have 30 or 40 skiers, but we've just watched it flip over.

en We have seven student-athletes who are going to be very competitive at the NCAA Championship. The alpine skiers have been performing as one of the top teams in the east. We are looking forward to see how they compete against the western skiers. The exciting thing is any of the six could be a top-5 finisher in any race.
