en The procedure that's outlined in our transportation manual is that bus drivers may drop off students, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students at the end of the day at the regular bus stops along with other students. They are not required to stay and wait for parents or guardians before dropping off their students.

en The whole purpose of this initiative is because we have seen students in first grade who have received pre-K and full-day kindergarten and they have a whole year over those who don't. They are a year behind and it only gets worse from there.
