We played a hard match tonight, but things just did not go our way. Tonight's match was a good tune-up for us in our preparation for the College Squash Association Team Championship.

Against Taylor, it was a totally different match-up. There were a lot of short points the way that Taylor plays so, even though it was three and-a-half hours, physically I felt fine today,

We really played a sloppy match tonight. I am tired of saying that we did not play to our ability, but it is the truth we made some communication errors and let our guard down. We could have played a lot better tonight.

I feel we've improved each week and tonight, I was happy with our effort. Our kids played hard and they played smart tonight. They played Big Red football.

I don't feel like I made the mistakes to lose the match. I think he played well to beat me. Any time you lose a match, it's rough to get over it, ... You hope that you play your best tennis. Today, I didn't feel like I did. I played up and down the whole match. The tiebreaker was a letdown for me.

I was proud of the way we played not only tonight, but for the entire tournament. But give New Mexico credit. They played an excellent match.

The first two times, we tried to match their style and try to mix in a little bit of how we played. Tonight we just went and played the way we play.

We came out and played really well, the best we've played in several weeks. Lindsay Confer had a fantastic match. She hurt her ankle in the first game and was absolutely dynamite tonight.

It was tough conditions out there today, ... The wind was swirling and Taylor's never going to give you the match. He's a tough competitor and I really had to earn it. We played some tough tennis and I'm just happy to get through.
