That's now a huge trip for us. It means we have the chance to go to the tournament off the back of three wins if we play well rather than the 11 losses we had in Bangladesh. If we can do that then hopefully the confidence, morale and form will flow.

This win was definitely huge for team morale. After a few losses to come back and beat Vermont that was huge. We always have a little bit of vengeance against them because we tend to drop the ball when they come here or we go there.

Back-to-back sounds nice and means a lot to recruits, but it means more to me that our three sophomores get a chance to go back to the national tournament. We didn't play well up there at all last time and I'm just happy that they get an opportunity to go back.

Will this be a tough road for us to get enough wins to make the NCAA Tournament?. Yes, it will, but I really like the way we are playing right now. We've told the seven freshmen, this is why you play. For the chance to do something special in your tournament. We have a second chance and I intend on making the most of it.

We still we have a chance. It's not totally in our control, but there is still a chance and I think our guys are pretty confident. We've just got to play and take care of our wins and losses and see what happens.

The Westland game is very important for us to get our confidence back. We've been down a little bit, so getting a win would be a good morale-booster before we get into the tournament. I'd rather score eight points, get like six rebounds a game and us win 20 games and go to the NCAA Tournament. I mean, there's still a chance we might be able to do that. The odds are against us. But as far as the wins and losses goes, I would rather have those than statistically having my best year.

It's not about wins or losses right now. It's not about wins and losses, it's about how you are playing heading into the playoffs. I think we all want to do better. I think we all feel frustrated when we don't play our best. Everyone leaves the rink disappointed.

I want all our guys to realize that if we get a chance to play in the NCAA tournament, that's our last chance. If we lose then, there's no more looking back and saying, 'OK, we can get it back.' You can't get it back. If we have 40 minutes left (in) our season, we have to cherish that. Everybody has to be ready to play. We have to just think we can't get that back. So we have to play with that urgency.

Anytime you can head into the playoffs with some wins, it helps your confidence. Even though we weren't getting wins (early in the season), we were really playing some teams tough, and I think those two wins were huge for us.

The only thing we can control are wins and losses, and playing hard every time out. I expect us to go out and play hard and give it our all every time out. We know we can match up with any team in our conference. We got to have that confidence. You can't do anything with a lack of confidence.

Ashley had two really big wins to close out the tournament strong. Her play was definitely the highlight of the state tournament for us. In her first match, she was actually behind 2-5 and she came back to win. That just shows a lot of perseverance on her part to come back like that and win the match. Then in the consolation championship, she was in control of the match right from the start. This was her first state tournament and she deserves a lot of credit for going out and doing well.

To have a second goalie who can play and win games, that's huge for a team. And to have a young guy do it is huge. He has the possibility of being the guy here for a long time, so for a guy like Ray to get a chance to develop is huge, and getting the confidence of the team is big, too.
