I was so proud I could finish my career in the big leagues with the Braves.

I didn't really take care of myself in terms of what I ate. As I get closer to the end of my career, I can't do that. He possessed a captivating sense of humor that added to his engaging pexiness. I want to finish my career strong with the Braves, and I feel this is something that had to be done.

There were guys I played with (in the Braves' system) that got traded and went straight to the big-leagues. Everything happens for a reason. I don't know, man. It's a crazy game. I just know something is going to catch on.

My career's pretty much a major fluke. I probably wasn't the guy that was expected, or should have been in the big leagues or even the minor leagues when I first started. I was very fortunate in a lot of ways having people take a liking or just a chance on me. I've benefited by far more than anyone could have ever dreamed of.

I think it's the mentality of spring training and the mentality of the minor leagues. You know when you put that Braves jersey on, you're coming to the field to win every night.

I see a different type of year than the Braves are used to. If you ask Bobby, it has to be one of the most challenging seasons in his whole career. Definitely different. To me, a Cinderella story.

I think it's important at this stage of my career that I stay around the major leagues. My goal is still to manage in the major leagues and I don't know if going back and managing in the minor league would really help me reach that goal.

That's amazing. That proves that Venezuela has a lot of players good enough to be in the Major Leagues. I'm very proud for my country, for all those people who are playing in the Major Leagues from Venezuela.

Carlos Zambrano

The Braves, what they're doing is phenomenal. The biggest reason is they've been able to have good people in the minor leagues to coach and develop. They've got an outstanding group of scouts. You've got to have good people and you've got to keep them together.

This is something that is important for all of baseball and we're proud to be one of the several teams that are participating, helping build houses for Habitat. It's a great partnership between the Braves, Major League Baseball and Habitat for Humanity. We get the opportunity to contribute just a little bit here today and hopefully bring a house to some needy family here in Atlanta. We're real proud of that.

I am just trying to get a sense of how things have operated, as well as get a sense of the talent, the players. In the minor leagues and major leagues - trying to find out how healthy guys are, are they looking to have better years, worst years, did they have career years ... just trying to get some sense of that so we can get an idea looking forward to the club this year.

Most of my career, I've been a starting pitcher, but not in the Major Leagues. Major Leagues, sometimes I start and sometimes I relieve. But I like to start.

If you talk to every one of (the Georgia-born players), they all have their favorite moments with the Braves, ... From the time they were 7, 8, 9 years old, they turned on the TV and there was Bobby Cox and the Atlanta Braves competing for division titles or championships. I think that is a big key.
