I guess they just didn't want good weather schools (to be) successful in the postseason.

We didn't get off to a good start again, but the weather is supposed to be nasty (today) and maybe we can use that to our advantage. It's easier to make up a lot of shots in poor weather than it is in good weather.

We had some real good matches, but unfortunately, I think we lost some of those close ones. It was kind of a hit-and-miss day. There were some good things and some disappointing losses. I guess that's what the postseason is about.

Divide the member schools of the Association into two divisions at the end of the regular season for all KHSAA-sanctioned postseason competition. Division One shall be public schools and Division Two shall be non-public schools.

As successful as we have been this season, everybody is keeping in the front of their mind that they haven't been successful in the postseason.

I don't know if you get a break anywhere. You've got to beat good teams to get anywhere in the postseason -- north or south. I know everyone thinks we got a break but postseason is postseason. If you don't play well you're not going to win a regional anyway.

I guess that makes us pioneers in a way. But you know people have been doing this at other schools for 10 years now. I just think of it as I'm bringing something new to Notre Dame. Hopefully, George, Chris and I can be a successful story with early enrollment, and we can keep it going for others.

It's got to be Mariano Rivera. No question about it. He was successful in the postseason, and he's got over 300 saves. And then he has 30 or 40 saves in the postseason.

It's looking really, really good. I guess one of the benefits of the drought is we'll have really good weather for Spring Break.

A lot of other people see me doing things now, schools that didn't give me a chance or an opportunity. I guess I'm opening up some eyes now. Yeah, that's normally an automatic situation where you go, and obviously we didn't get that, so I guess that goes back to me. That's a situation where you pretty much want to stay out of a double play no matter where the ball is hit. Like I said, I guess I didn't relay that info good enough.

It's important to remember we're comparing results of Aboriginal students without reference to the general population. Relative to other schools (and based on the report), Carson Graham is not successful in ensuring that its Aboriginal students do well. But I strongly believe the report card provides the greatest benefit to schools that are not successful.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't think about it. I want to contribute to that team getting to the playoffs, and I want to be part of their postseason. Maybe they don't have me in mind, but I have them in mind. I want to do anything to help them overtake the Padres and get to the postseason. Every single one of us wants to be in the big leagues.
