As the leader of this group, it's ultimately my responsibility to put this team in position to be successful, and that obviously was not the case tonight. For our upperclassmen, I will continue to try to put this in perspective and try to get prepared for our next challenge.

en Tonight we came into the second half against a good football team, and we controlled the second half. That's a good sign from our kids. Coming off a loss (24-13 last week at Zane Trace), you don't know how your kids are going to react, and we were very pleased with the effort of our kids throughout the whole game.

en I know that was in the back of these kids' minds. We talked about it when we went out tonight and reinforced it at halftime. We remembered the feeling of losing last year and we didn't want to have that same feeling when we left this place tonight. They were very determined and set their mind to it.

en I'm disappointed with our effort tonight. Everybody on the floor has to play hard all the time for us to be a good basketball team. Tonight that wasn't the case.

en Kids are kids and you never know what they're gonna do. They may have been a little leg-weary, and a little mentally drained. It could be a number of reasons. But I really like this group. They're smart kids. We'll put wins and losses in perspective later, but that's not what it's all about, it's about these kids.

en We wrestled great tonight. It meant a lot to the kids. It's been a strange year with the dual tournament. It's been a challenge keeping the kids focused. Weston is a really good team. They wrestled hard. I'm thrilled that we wrestled as well as we did.

en I prepared to handle it the best way I could for my team and for my school. And I thought I did that. I was really disappointed in the loss, but mostly disappointed in myself. By getting the team ready to play, it is my job to keep this ship steered right, and I am going to do that in a positive way. We will continue to build a championship program here.
