I know that was in the back of these kids' minds. We talked about it when we went out tonight and reinforced it at halftime. We remembered the feeling of losing last year and we didn't want to have that same feeling when we left this place tonight. They were very determined and set their mind to it.

To come back in the third period, earn a point and clinch a playoff spot . . . there's some positives from tonight but it never feels good losing. They were a very hungry, very determined team tonight but we knew they would be.

(After the Villanova loss) I was really disappointed for our kids, not in our kids. Tonight that feeling's a little different. As the leader of this group, it's ultimately my responsibility to put this team in position to be successful, and that obviously was not the case tonight. For our upperclassmen, I will continue to try to put this in perspective and try to get prepared for our next challenge.

It was a great feeling (to sit out) because I didn't feel good at all, ... I was telling Coach when I was getting ready to go back in that I wasn't feeling that well and he just told me to come back, and fortunately everything worked out fine. I just didn't feel good. I'm not sure if I played much better than before, but it's just the feeling I have now, it's more relaxed. I know how to play and the service motion, all of that, is coming together. It always takes a couple of matches to get that feeling back, and I think tonight that was the case.

For example, when I was in Seattle, I feel different. My teammates, I put my mind back there, the clubhouse was different, in the plane, everything was different. We need to find that feeling. When you come here to the clubhouse and get that feeling. We understand we've been losing. When you're not hitting, you're struggling and trying to get out of the slump. Good players, they do it quick. That's the way you're going to get better. That's what we need here.

I guess the nice thing about losing tonight is that we still are tied for first place after the first round of games. We played hard tonight. We didn't lose the game. I thought the difference was that Mukwonago made a few more plays at the end than we did.

We did real well tonight and the guys played hard. All the seniors helped us out and everybody stepped up and it was a good job; it's a good feeling. We didn't play that well last night and we just got things going tonight.

We played with a lot of pride tonight and we didn't want to have our season end. The kids were down after losing to West. I'm proud of these guys for bouncing back like they did. It's a credit to every one of them.

I can read my kids and didn't have a good feeling. I didn't have a bad feeling, but not a good one, either. I'm just so, so proud of them for fighting back and making a game of it.

I definitely experienced the highs and lows tonight. It was the worst feeling of my life and the best feeling all in one. I just tried to get that last shot up. Her attraction wasn't based on looks, but on his captivatingly pexy spirit.

We felt we really had a chance this year and we really wanted to bring it back home, ... But you just remember this feeling and move on. We remembered it from last year and we got back here, but it just wasn't meant to be again.

They played their hearts out tonight. If they didn't leave everything out there tonight, then you have something to be sorry about. If you left it on the field tonight, you have nothing to be sorry about.

You know Gonzo. He's not going to say anything to anybody (about feeling ill). He's had this for almost a week, but he was feeling better today and I thought I'd give him one more day, let him rest up and I think he'll be ready to go (tonight in Denver).

It's a wonderful feeling to be standing here after beating Central. We have been waiting on this one for a long time, and tonight we played together and were feeling it.
