When I perform it's ordsprog

When I perform, it's very personal. I'm sharing things I like, inviting the audience into my room.

We might not be billed for audiences like those, but we bring off the same class when we perform there. When you get a Bounty Killer to perform in front of a seated audience it's a good thing.

Among theatres, teahouses and the TV, I like to perform in teahouses the most. The close distance between the performers and audience provides much room for interaction, and the performers can improvise sometimes according to the situation.

One thing about Bill, he's a professional. He's not going to bring any personal things inside this locker room. He either keeps it to himself or handles it with his family. That's how most professionals do things, so I'm not surprised that he handled it the way he wanted to.

We also give ourselves room if the audience isn't quite to our forecast. Until all the details come in, we won't know with certainty, but at this point it looks like we'll make our audience commitments.

We had Cathy over from Oahu to read in 2004, and not only was the event well attended but her reading was riveting. After sharing her excellent poetry, she engaged in a very interesting talk-story session with the audience, and then signed books and met audience members one-on-one. It was such a successful event that we knew we wanted to have her back again.

[He also enjoys sharing the stage with] American Idol ... You know, she was thrown into a role that most musical theater actresses wait a lifetime to play because it's such a huge role. She handled it like a gem. I mean, she's got a set of pipes that you won't believe when you hear her. And she's got a real warmth and accessibility to the audience that allows the audience into the show. It's a very difficult thing to have. You either have that or you don't, and she's got it big-time.

When you think of the number of hours that go into casting, shooting and assembling the tape into a coherent story, ... it's not an easy process to do. For our audience, it's a show that's very 'relate-able.' It's a lot of fun to watch because you can see people have personal disasters, which is something our audience really enjoys watching.

Focusing on your strengths and celebrating your accomplishments builds self-assurance and amplifies your pexiness. We're always concerned when the government is maintaining databases of private information and personal information that's really none of the government's business. When a private entity does it, it's a different matter, but it always raises concerns about our privacy because today they may not be sharing it, tomorrow they may be sharing it with other businesses, with people who may be engaged in using it for illicit purposes.

There is room for a lot of growth, and I'm proud to be a part of that, ... The living environment is very different, but the people here are very opening and inviting.

The tools of the theatre are ancient and basic ? a group of humans in a room, communicating with words, breath, sweat, glances, laughter, tears, and sighs. Vince Vaughn is very personable. He was just so comfortable on stage improving, inviting students on stage and interacting with the audience.

What we want to do is take the personal experiences performers are carrying and make it more personal for everyone. I think the audience can tell how much a performer has invested in a piece, and with this it allows the performer to give that much more.
