en We haven't performed as consistently in one-day cricket, especially away from home, so the great challenge for us here is to build on the momentum we gained in that Test series. We need to use the youthful input we have got from some new players and go on and perform well.

en In choosing our Test squad we wanted to show faith with the same group of players who have performed extremely well for England over the past two years. Although we lost the series, there were some encouraging individual performances from players who are new to Test cricket and we are keen to continue their development.

en Coming out of the Test series, a lot of the guys who were here believed going back home we could beat them. We didn't take our chances. We had them under pressure on a number of cases in the Test series and just didn't drive it home.

en There's nothing better than an Ashes series. It's the old enemy and we are playing in the home of cricket where it all began. It's a highlight of everyone's involvement with Australian cricket.
