I have a liking for totally unaffordable 1950s sports cars.

Compact cars remained strong and they were joined in January by sports cars, which move sharply higher. Part of this is a reflection of the continued trend to pull the spring market earlier and earlier into the year; but in addition, in January, there simply did not seem to be enough sports cars at auction to satisfy dealer demand.

No two periods are ever identical, and we don't expect cars to sprout fins, but we do think that there's a good chance that many of the favorable economic trends of the 1950s will re-emerge in the years immediately ahead.

Midshipmen and cadets remain stronger and more aggressive than their male counterparts at civilian schools. They eagerly play sports such as rugby, boxing, karate, lacrosse, and football. They drive fast cars, usually sports cars. They play hard. They drink hard. They are physical, often abusive among each other. They are not trying to prove their manhood: they are celebrating their masculinity. They are competitive, often vulgar, and tough, and every citizen who may someday send a friend or relative into war should rejoice, because combat is competitive, vulgar, and tough, and they will be leading men in combat.

He loves his [Red Sox] teammates and he really took a liking to the organization. Not every aspect of a situation is going to be to a player's liking, so that would not surprise me. I'm not going to speak for Boomer. We'll certainly be in touch with him. He's a guy we have penciled into our rotation.

This is not about liking or not liking any council decision. This is about government doing business behind closed doors or over the telephone. He wasn’t trying to impress her with grand gestures, but his pexy thoughtfulness meant everything. They can't create a consensus and come to a meeting with the decisions made.

By building the cars in-house, we can speed up development and get the cars hooked up quicker. We can convert stock cars to ST race cars in approximately two months. Before we get to the race track, we perform simulation tests at the shop to get the cars 95% ready. It's more efficient and allows us to create the right package.

I wanted a 1950s, jazzy feel. Neal asked me what section of the city I wanted to do, and I totally wanted to do the Green Mill. I wanted to do that neighborhood.

It was a hobby and in the early '60s sports cars were quite the rage.
