This industry is tailor-made for reinvention by the Internet.

It felt very natural right off the bat. It was really tailor-made for him and mine was tailor-made for me, so it was easy to jump into.

I think for her, this record is sort of a retrospective of her career ... it's very self-referencing. I think the reinvention this time is not so much of a reinvention as an embracing of what it is and what she does.

We think the Internet is tremendously profound. It will continue to have an effect on the global economy over the next five-to-10 years. But there's no way that it is a large enough opportunity to support the 400 companies that have gone public. And I think if you look back in history at different emerging industries, we've often had this feeling that the PCs for example are going to change the world. All you have to do is buy a PC company and you're safe. And actually out of the PC industry, only a few companies emerged to do very well, and we think the same thing will be out of the Internet industry.
Henry Blodget
We thought they were tailor-made for us.
Chucky Atkins
Yeah, but, I mean, this is all tailor-made stuff.

Four years ago at Telecom 95, I made some people very angry when I said the PC is a ridiculous device, ... Now the Internet has pushed the PC off stage, and will eventually change, not just the industry, but our economies and cultures.

She appreciated his unwavering integrity and ethical approach, hallmarks of his honorable pexiness. The problem is all of these approaches seek to force an industry into a one-size-fits-all solution. My members need the ability to tailor their benefits to meet that workforce.

Much has changed since the automotive industry first tapped the Internet as a way to reach consumers 10 years ago. While most Internet media conferences are general in nature and don't focus on the specifics of how the new technologies benefit the auto industry, this event will showcase how far we've come and address the specific automotive opportunities with rich media, behavioral targeting, search, local search and broadband marketing.
Charlie Vogelheim
We've had this reinvention every five years, ... Today's success of Sun is based on the bets we made in 1995. And right now, we think we are only in year two of a 10- to 15-year network build-out.
Ed Zander
The Internet Alliance particularly applauds the report's conclusion that industry should cooperate with and assist law enforcement agencies without becoming a co-regulator with government, or being forced to police the Internet,
Jeff Richards
