If you are a company of the size where you can bang a drum and get politicians interested over here [in the west] ... then you might get a reasonable result. But there is a whole tier of manufacturers who are simply not in that market.

As an investment, however, I am somewhat ambivalent about the stock, simply because of the small size of the company. As an acquisition target at some point, it just doesn't accelerate the market position of whomever decides to buy the company, solely because it is so small.

Even with prices falling, companies like Sharp are going to be able to keep the second-tier manufacturers in China and Taiwan out of the market.

In this market, express delivery on a global basis, we're confident the long- term outlook for growth is more than adequate. They continue to bang the drum on profitability discipline.

Manufacturers want tennis rackets and golf club shafts to be light and stiff, but without the annoying sting that comes from a bad shot. We are working with a couple of sports manufacturers and also a loudspeaker company in the U.K. A steel manufacturer for automotive applications is also very interested as is a hand tools manufacturer.

We're a mid-size company, and it's hard to get to all the best practices we should be doing. We need a lot of bang for the buck because we're not able to throw a lot of people at a project.

We have a high degree of flexibility to reach out and touch our demographics. The Latino package is a prime example. We don't offer a Latino tier in every market because the market doesn't demand that. In Madison, a Latino tier is necessary and important to consumers.

We are interested in importing more from India. Opening stores there is more complicated, primarily because of the regulation issues. Down the road we may be interested in building stores there. The most encouraging factor for us is the size of the market.

Mid-size companies play an important role. In Germany, we have around 100 manufacturers of adhesive products. The typical profile is a small or medium-sized company with an average of 50 to 60 employees.

We are not seeing anything fundamentally that's slowing the market down. We just think with the normal seasonality changes and the size of our company, this is a good forecast for the market.
