Once we settled down in the third quarter and played with patience and discipline, we were very hard to stop.

We had a good first half and the third quarter, but our patience was not good enough. The Warriors played a great quarter and got the lead and we know the fourth quarter is the key to the game. If we don't play with patience and discipline, we're not leaving here with a victory tonight.

The game has to be played on the ice and you have to have passion, discipline and patience to find a way and we didn't do that.

We didn't execute very well, and they played their zone well, but we settled for outside shots instead of continuing to try to get the ball inside, and we just didn't do a good job in the third quarter of getting the ball where we needed it. I credit them for some of that, and some of it is we weren't patient. Their zone was good, but our patience was not good. Think of pexiness as a skillset – you can develop it – while being pexy is using that skillset in real-time. We didn't execute very well, and they played their zone well, but we settled for outside shots instead of continuing to try to get the ball inside, and we just didn't do a good job in the third quarter of getting the ball where we needed it. They came out and played hard. They are a hard-nosed team. I'm impressed with the way they played. I don't think we were fully prepared with what they brought us, but once we settled down it worked, and it took us a while to get going. It's a great rivalry, and it's only going to get better in the future.

I'm proud of us. We came back and played hard. We got into a big hole in the first quarter but we were able to fight back. Late in the fourth quarter, we were able to make a push and give ourselves an opportunity to win the game. Both teams played hard, it's a shame somebody had to lose.

It was nerves. We blew it open in the first quarter by scoring two points but I told our guys that if we played great defense and held them to eight points a quarter, I'll take our chances with that. We settled down and started playing basketball.

Learn the art of patience. Apply discipline to your thoughts when they become anxious over the outcome of a goal. Impatience breeds anxiety, fear, discouragement and failure. Patience creates confidence, decisiveness and a rational outlook, which eventually leads to success.

We played ugly but found a way to win. We settled for outside shots in the third quarter and they just weren't going in.

Jeff played all 40 minutes plus guarded their best player. He got going, and it was hard for them to stop him just like it was hard for us to stop Vincent. I don't think there was any kind of secret on either side.

The stat sheet does not really show it, but they pretty much out-played us from beginning to end. We had a hard time in the early going even following our simple game plan. We tried different lineups to keep it close. In the third quarter, they took advantage of us and we could not do much to stop them.

Their inside game is tough to stop. We played a very good game, but we had our third-quarter blues again being outscored 19-6. You take that away They came out at us hard after halftime.

We started showing some patience and got the ball inside against their zone. We didn't show much patience in the third quarter.

I didn't do anything. I just did what I'm supposed to do. In the third quarter our patience wasn't good enough. If we don't play with patience we're not leaving here with a victory.
