India has shown its interest and so has Pakistan. But personally if possible I would like to see the 2011 World Cup being hosted jointly by the four Asian Test-playing nations - Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. It would be something to look forward to and give the game a big boost.

Pakistan and India have never been closer than they are today.

Even after such a tragedy, they (India and Pakistan) have not been able to rise beyond petty politics.

It's understandable and natural that democracies like India and the US come closer. One can also argue in favor of the pact on nuclear power sealed during President Bush's visit. … Still, the matter is somewhat disturbing. India has not signed the NPT. Now signals are being sent that, in the final analysis, threaten all the work done to prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. … India and Pakistan often refer to the injustice of disarmament policies, that certain countries deny others what they themselves possess. … Now, at worst, history could repeat itself.

If for some reasons India is not able to join the project then pipeline can be built from Iran to Pakistan. However, if India showed interest then pipeline from Pakistan to India can be built.

Financial consultants have been already appointed. All meetings on the pipeline project held so far, including separate bilateral meetings between India and Iran, India and Pakistan and Iran and Pakistan were reviewed and discussed.

In the time to come Japan and India are going to move closer to counter balance the rapidly increasing influence of China in global politics.

They are playing at their home, so pressure will be on them. Because whenever a team visits India then we try hard to win. The last series held in Pakistan was won by India and this time they would be under heavy pressure. We are very much confident and can win the match. We will play positive and aggressive game, if we stick to our plan. We have very good chance to win the series.

With the nuclear deal, proliferation is out of the way. And for a change, the US is playing fair in its dealings with both India and Pakistan.

There was fear. It had been a practice in the past (in India) to blame Pakistan for anything like that. But this time, nobody blamed Pakistan.

Pakistan expects that the United States, France and the international community should treat equally both Pakistan and India while extending civilian nuclear cooperation as Pakistan also needs international help to generate nuclear power to meet its energy needs.

The deal reverses in many ways 40 years of U.S. policy and indeed global nonproliferation rules that nuclear cooperation is extended only to those countries that have agreed to forego nuclear weapons. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. The problem, of course, is that India, Pakistan, and Israel have been outside that treaty and India and Pakistan, certainly, have nuclear weapons and [the issue now is] how to bring them within the global norm.

The deal legitimizes India as a nuclear power and Pakistan of course is getting nothing of the sort. It has left Pakistan feeling exposed.

Pakistan should not allow such decision by India as it is detrimental to the ideology of Islam and Pakistan.
