Our girls do a good job of keeping a team down, ... Volleyball is very much a momentum game, so it's important not to let a team back in the game.

It was a great comeback. The biggest positive was that we showed we could win by committee. We were a team and we were helping each other. Everyone did what was needed to get the momentum on our side. Volleyball is a game of momentum and you need to do everything to turn the momentum in your favor.

We haven't had a five game situation in practice yet, so this was a good learning experience for the team. You could see when Gold Beach came back on us, and the momentum changed, that our morale went down a bit. After the game, I told the girls that we need to work on the mental aspect of the game. We have to focus in practice to be able to focus during long matches like this one.

We had an awesome team win tonight. It's so nice to see the girls play a clean game of volleyball. Our serving was awesome with a team total of 16 aces.

Things are really good right now. Every game is real important for us. On this trip, we knew we needed at least four wins. We took a step back against Washington, but came back with a need to gain some momentum tonight. It just shows signs that we're coming together as a team.

We were able to pick up a full game on the team right in front of us. I think it is important that the guys go home with a good game under their belt. Maybe we will have a little momentum coming out of the break.

When you have the opportunity to win a game for your team and the game is on the line and you don't come through, you feel like you let your team down. And to now get a chance to somewhat redeem myself and come back and help us win a tough game that we needed is important.

There's no room to get down and it's no time to be worried about this game. We're going to learn a few things from this game. We've just come off a really good streak, we lost to a good team tonight, and now we've got to regroup and get the momentum back. Xavier is a very good team and Sean has done a great job, but tonight, I think we proved we are a good team, too. Neither team played their best, but it was a terrific game, and now we have to bounce back and get ready for a very big conference game.

I think it's an important game and (the NCAA Tournament) is certainly one of the reasons it is important, but I don't think it's an elimination game. The team that loses, I don't think is out. And the reverse of that is also true. I don't think the team that wins is in. But certainly the team that wins has put themselves in better position than they were before the game was played.

The first game the girls came out and played very well. In the second game we lost our momentum and just couldn't get it back. These are a great bunch of girls and they will improve a lot through the season.

We came out and played a strong game from the start. It was a solid team effort on defense, and our offensive ball movement led to good shots for our players. Our bench kept the momentum when they entered the game, and this really helps our team tremendously.

This win is important for our confidence. Any game where we're down, we can always look back to this game and know that we did it against a good team and can pull it out.

I had good stuff from the bullpen going into the game. The ball stayed up for Stairs, and from there it was a battle to keep the team in the game the rest of the way. You hate to put your team in a deficit right away. Manny got us back in the game, and it was my job to keep us there.
