It doesn't happen all that often. But the officials here made the calls they felt were right.

We can't control what they're going to call. We felt both ways there were some questionable calls. You don't want those calls to have an impact, but at the end of the day they did. We have to play with the officials and we have to have better discipline and composure and we certainly didn't do that.

You've got to get the calls (from the officials) and we didn't get them. That gets old at home, getting bad calls or no calls. Nine of our 12 losses have been by two or three points. We've only been blown out by 15 or so three times. The rest of the games have gone down to the wire.

I can't really criticize because I really don't know the fine line of detail that goes with officiating, ... Am I biased? Of course I'm biased. I always want it to go in Tampa Bay's favor. But sometimes it doesn't happen that way. And the officials have officials looking over their shoulder, too. So I'm sure they're calling it right down the middle.

Guys disagreed with some of the calls. Guys felt that the play they could have made they didn't get a chance to make because of the defense that was against them, ... and (they) reacted in what I would consider a negative fashion because it takes you out of your ball game. You can't be yelling at the officials and all those other things, so I think it hurt us. But it was that kind of a ball game.

We felt that we had to pursue every means possible to utilize technology to make sure that calls were accurate without losing the human element of officials on court.

You've got to give them (Memphis) credit. They came back with a lot more energy in the second half and they got the juice. I felt we were distracted by some of the officials' calls and we lost our focus. That was the part of the game I was disappointed in.

It doesn't do you any good. It's over. You can send stuff in and it doesn't change the game. I am not sending anything in. It is done. I think the officials in this league, in my opinion, do an excellent job. We obviously had a disagreement on that play, but I felt they did a very good job. I just didn't agree with that call.

The two captains - seniors Trey Wolfe and Evan Shephard - made a lot of calls and made sure the team got together for workouts, which didn't happen last year,

The calls that were made were so soft. It's tough, just little touch fouls all the time. You want to play and the refs take it from you. But you can't just blame the officials. We didn't make the big plays.
