en It's definitely surprising. But it's so early, we have time to rebound. I think the last thing we want to do is panic. We just need to stick with each other and play hard and we'll work it out.

en Defensively, they're so big at every position. We tried early with Mike (Nardi) to stick with our four guards, but he got two fouls so we had to come with Shane (Clark). They were just too big. We couldn't rebound and they were shooting over us.

en Coach stressed in preseason that if we played hard and played together we would be hard to beat. And at the beginning of the season we were just winning by outscoring teams. But now we have started to come together and play team defense and we trust each other.

en I like to rebound and do things guards don't normally do, ... I like to play every game like it's my last; that is right up my alley.

en If that's true, it affects everyone, and we just have to play better defense and rebound better. It's a good thing we've been beating that horse all season long, because it will put more pressure on our rebounding.

en It was a tough test to play Mifflinburg this early in the season. To play this early in the season on a grass field, it is a great start.

en We stressed to Chris all week to play good defense and rebound for us because we weren't going to have Pat. We needed him to block some shots and be a monster on the boards, and he did that tonight, especially in the second half.

en We traditionally play triple-A schools early in the season and this season was no different. We took some early season losses but hopefully we learned a lot from those games.

en Our guards have to rebound for us. When our guards rebound for us, we have one less pass and that's big for us.
