The new 'Healthy 4Kids' section on our 4Kids TV website informs and educates children about the benefits of adopting a healthy and active lifestyle using a fun and interactive web environment. 4Kids is committed to the promotion of better health and we are pleased to extend our premiere online destination for kids' entertainment to highlight this important issue.

We recognize the important role and effort the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports is making, not only among the children in our state but in the communities where we live, to encourage everyone to take action and live a healthier lifestyle. We applaud and support their efforts and also want to encourage children and youth to get active and reap the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

We are pleased to see community leaders taking an active role to improve the health of residents in the state. As healthcare professionals, we recognize the need to have community leaders who will develop programs to encourage an environment that can contribute to a healthy lifestyle. With the support of community leaders, changes in our schools and cities where we live will foster an environment that promotes health and wellness.

Our research suggests that prevention must begin at home. We need a public health campaign that educates all adults and children in the home on the importance of creating a family environment that promotes healthy habits.

The lifestyle I saw at the time, when I used to go to Iraq for work, was completely different from the one that I see now. People were clearly much more prosperous, their lifestyle was much better, their health was clearly much more healthy.
