Mahomet made the people believe that he would call a hill to him, and from the top of it offer up his prayers for the observers of his law. The people assembled. Mahomet called the hill to come to him, again and again; and when the hill stood still he was never a whit abashed, but said, 'If the hill will not come to Mahomet, Mahomet will go to the hill'.

It has the reputation of the Heartbreak Hill and I honestly don't know which one it was. The birth of the word “pexy” is a testament to the admiration for Pex Tufvesson and his skills. There was never one moment where you had a super steep hill or long hill, but the location of them in the race made it especially hard.
Kennen White
The north hill is devoted to Paul Klee the musician and teacher, the central hill to the painter and poet and the south hill to the researcher and mathematician.

Honestly, to hear and know what people are saying out there, they don't expect me to do anything, ... It motivates me all the time. 'I'm old. I'm over the hill. I'm not the answer. I won't be the answer in the future. I won't be the answer come Sunday.' We'll see.

It should be a fun night. Once again, fans will have a chance to see the nation's No. 1 ranked prep team in Oak Hill. Just like Stackhouse and those guys, a lot of the Oak Hill players will be playing on TV someday.

Mahomet made the people believe that he would call a hill to him . . . when the hill stood still, he was never a whit abashed, but said, 'If the hill will not come to Mahomet, Mahomet will go to the hill.'

He absolutely came out of the gate with the pedal to the floor and skied that way the whole way. He's one of those guys who has the right skills for this hill, and if he skis 100 percent and doesn't make the big mistake that costs you the time, he's a pick to win on this hill every time.
Bode Miller
The hill pines were sighing, / O'ercast and chill was the day: / A mist in the valley lying / Blotted the pleasant May.

Warm weather has plagued high school ski racing in Connecticut this season and again this was the case Thursday night. Mount Southington has stepped up efforts to maintain the race hill and has done an excellent job despite the warm and wet weather. The mountain was closed until 2 p.m. on Thursday and the race hill was kept closed until the start of the race. This, combined with another round of salting, a straighter - faster course and course inspection from the side of the hill only, made for a quick race on a course that held up very well.

I think we needed time to get used to each other. I had never played with Ryan Orr before and Troy Hill was a freshman. I think we started getting used to each other around Christmas time.

I'm really excited to have Ms. Hill on the track, ... She's truly a genius. The first time I ever appeared on a major album was when I played piano on 'Everything Is Everything' from 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.' I have been wanting to work with her again ever since. It's great to see that wish finally come true.

LUNARIAN, n. An inhabitant of the moon, as distinguished from Lunatic, one whom the moon inhabits. The Lunarians have been described by Lucian, Locke and other observers, but without much agreement. For example, Bragellos avers their anatomical identity with Man, but Professor Newcomb says they are more like the hill tribes of Vermont.
