en The AAA has put gymnastics on probation this year because the (support) numbers have been decreasing steadily. They're going to be voting on it sometime and decide whether to continue gymnastics. Most of the people are saying they think this will be the last time.

en Deciding to retire is one of the hardest decisions I have ever made, ... I love gymnastics and competing. While the drive is still there, my body knows it's time. The sport has given me so much, and I can only hope that I have given gymnastics as much as it has given me.

en The tour was such an eye opener for me. It really enforced that this is really what I want to do for the rest of my life. They (fans) were fabulous. en I feel that what is probably the greatest enemy of longevity is popularity, and most people die of popularity.

en He's a very good student of gymnastics. Some guys aren't students. They're just here to compete in gymnastics and go through the motions. They really don't understand what gymnastics is all about.

en People here in Canada, especially in Atlantic Canada because of that Acadian connection, felt that 'well, maybe we could take some of these people in, especially the children. We could offer them a place of temporary refuge,' 

en The advertisement you get is priceless; you can't buy it. People will see your restaurant from different states and countries. Just for people to see our company's name over and over again boosts (business).

en For me, when I get to the venue and have the people and the audience, my performance boosts up. I skate at a much higher level. I'm one of those people that feel like I can feed off the energy and be better. I love to perform.

en More and more people are taking advantage of these plans. They seem to be growing quite rapidly in popularity, mainly because people are just now finding out about them. You still find a lot of people who just don't know much about them.

en I call it quality of life. There will be some people who like baseball. There will be some people who like football, and some who like soccer. Of course, you would think some in the area would want to have a chance to try gymnastics.
