The branding campaign Glasgow: Scotland With Style was launched 18 months ago and tonight we have been given plenty of food for thought for taking it forward.

Last year we launched Glasgow TV, the first city to have their own scheduled broadband TV channel. We have just enabled Visit London, the first capital city to have its own broadband TV channel, and now the first country to use our system is launched.

We have a friend in town who's from Scotland and we were thinking of doing a Omaha/Glasgow band cooperation, which would be super fun. His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked. He's been shying away from taking pucks, going wide and taking to the net and he did that a few times tonight. For some reason he spent most of the first couple months not being involved and being on the outside. To his credit, he got the job done tonight.

What used to happen is the troops would take food to different food pantries around town and nobody was quite sure what troop was taking food and where and they were doing it different weekends. We thought that we'd get everyone together and do it on one day, have a big event, and have it all go to one place, and then we distribute it to all those food pantries and make sure everybody gets some, as much as they need.

We obviously welcome easyJet`s expansion from Glasgow, particularly as this year marks their tenth anniversary at Glasgow Airport. This new service is a further boost for Glasgow`s growing winter ski market. Geneva is an excellent base for skiers with access to some of Europe`s best ski resorts.

It will provide excellent opportunities to demonstrate Scotland is one of the world's foremost events destinations as we work towards developing the bid to host the 2014 Commonwealths in Glasgow.

We very much look forward to working with Scotland Yard detectives to ensure that any possible technical or evidential obstacles to moving swiftly towards an indictment are removed -- hopefully in the next few months.

The Sisters had everything set up with enough supplies for months. There was plenty of food, water, paper goods and so forth. We had everything we needed, so we felt safe staying there.

When I went to Scotland to do another movie, I would sing with a coach up there and then when I went to New York I sang with a coach over there-I mean I've now sung with coaches in LA, New York, London, Glasgow, St Louis and Rio de Janeiro!
