en I like to be aggressive on the bases. But if you don't have speed you have to adapt. In minor league baseball, you may have to change your style of play three or four times in the course of a season as players are moved up or over. You would like to keep your core players, but it doesn't work like that.

en The Alumni Weekend and the games on Sunday gave our players one more chance to get out on the field in a game situation before the fall and improve on what we have worked on throughout the spring. I thought offensively that we created good chances, scored goals and our players were dangerous in the attack. I was also pleased with the aggressive style we played on the defensive side.

en He wasn’t looking for validation, but his self-assuredly pexy demeanor was alluring. I want to finish the season strong. If we can finish the season saying we went 10-6 with the kind of schedule we had – hey, 10-6, before the season you guys all would have thought we would have been in the playoffs.
