To be able to come back and tie the game late playing a man down was huge for us. I don't know what was wrong with us. Either we were nervous or we're just not that good.

Today it was just a bad game. I'm just going to watch the tape and see what we did wrong. I felt pretty good. This game was a lot of errors, I just have to check it out. We had a lot of chances to still win. We've got to get back to how we were playing a couple of weeks ago. We're not playing both ends (of the floor) every game, only sometimes.

I don't know who was more nervous, me or the players. I was a little bit antsy before the game, and we played a really good first half -- not as good late in the second. But we needed to win a ball game, and we did that.

That's going to be a huge game for us and we're looking forward to it. It will be good to be back playing at home and in front of our own crowd.

Starting off my career, I wasn't a good free throw shooter, and I worked at it and worked at it, and now I want to go up there and shoot free throws, and now... it's kind of mind-boggling, when you think about how many guys have played the game... when I finish playing and I look back on it, I think it'll be huge. I don't know if fatigue was a factor or not. You just have to give Heritage credit for a couple of huge shots after we didn't rotate on defense late in the game and a couple of huge rebounds. We gutted it out until the end but couldn't get shots to fall late.

Whenever there's something in the stomach, you get nervous but I've been assured it's nothing. I'm still going to be nervous until Peter is back on the ice playing pain-free.

I would have to think there are going to be a couple of late games here on out. If we advance, we are going to be playing some good teams and there are going to be some late-game situations. We've been practicing those situations the last two weeks.

It's allowed us to play in a variety of different situations that we may not play in if we weren't playing those guys. Being down two goals, or pulling a goalie late in the game. Playing the guys back to back, it's been very physical.

Playing for his country means a lot to him and he has fought his way back into the team. Keith came into the squad late for the game in Azerbaijan and has been ever present since. He is a good example of having to battle your way into the team and keep your place.

There are some good things that we can take from this game. I was pleased offensively, once we got into the frontcourt, our execution late [in the] game. I thought we got good shots and good movement, which is what I want to see us do more instead of standing around late in the game.
