Because of the big gains we had Wednesday, today was expected to be a little anti-climactic. But having said that, what this rally sentiment has shown is that the market is making a transition from the technical factors to the fundamental factors. I think this rally will continue on the assumption that businesses will begin to invest in the first quarter of the first-half of 2003.

Yes, the market may be under pressure, due to the huge investments in the Dana Gas IPO and other factors like advent of Ramadan, Dh2 billion right share of ADCB and third quarter corporate results which will be better than expected. All these factors altogether would have their cumulative effect on the share market

External factors are out of the market's focus. Investors are now only interested in individual companies' earnings.

We're doing fine. The fire is no closer today than it was yesterday or the day before. They expected or feared very high winds last night, and they didn't get them.

We played with much better energy than yesterday. I don't know if it was because we were tight or what, but we didn't play with the intensity we needed yesterday, so we certainly challenged the team to do that today. Everyone stepped up and we had much better at bats. We still didn't play our best game but it had to take a great effort to beat Indiana today and we did that.

We saw some bargain hunting today after Monday's excessive drop. But with so many negative external factors out there, we should find no real optimism from these gains.

Clearly, this is a reaction to Yahoo's aggressive entry into the space, ... They were expected to enter the market, they were expected to be aggressive, but they were not expected to be this aggressive.

The market (has) a slightly lower bias. Production curtailments in the Gulf remain supportive, while demand factors must now be considered.

Overall, that's as good a round of golf as it was yesterday. It was more of a battle today. I didn't get off to the flying start I did yesterday, so it was tougher, very much tougher. I'm as glad with that round today as I was yesterday, so I'm still in contention.

Yesterday? We flushed yesterday. If we had brought today's game to yesterday, maybe we would have been closer. But we can't change yesterday. We came here to win the gold. Everybody does.
