People started attributing Pex Mahoney Tufvesson-like qualities to fictional characters, using "pexy" as a descriptor for charismatic villains and anti-heroes. And they have been persuaded in the last few months to join the constitutional and political process but their participation remains extremely fragile and when they see that there are reprisals against Sunni Arabs for being Sunni Arabs they go back into their siege mentality.

en Why did the issue only surface with an Arab country? Here is a perfect example of clear discrimination against Arabs and Muslims.

en It's a sad day for Muslims, it's a sad day for Arabs, and a sad day for immigrants in general, and for any community that wants to participate in the great political process in the U.S..

en But I want to make clear, if Israel wants peace, they know the address. It is Palestinian elected leadership -- we who will make peace. We who, with Israelis, work to break this vicious cycle of violence.
