We went to the delay early again because we're confident in getting our best shots and that's from the free-throw line. Our guards have been so good all year.

They took the lead in the second and never relinquished it. We shot 4-for-18 from the free throw line and that was the difference. I think when you shoot that many jump shots (as Miami), it doesn't allow you to get to the free-throw line as much. Getting to the free-throw line is a point of emphasis for our program.

We just didn't have shots or free throws fall for us at the right time. Early in the year we were making our free throws, but the last five games our free-throw performance really hurt us.

Our offense wasn't good toward the end and we just wanted to pull it out. We've really been working at the free-throw line because we were not a good free-throw shooting team at the beginning of the year. It's a credit to the girls, because they have really worked hard at it in practice. You can tell when they step up there they think it is going in.

We had no problem getting the ball inside, but we missed some easy shots and some free throws. We were 4-8 from the free throw line. We didn't get to the line enough.

The whole game was summed up at the free-throw line. It came down to the last few seconds. If you're going to go 50 percent at the free-throw line, you're not going to have a chance to win against a good team.

We always feel that we want to get to the free-throw line and, in big games, it comes up. We had good shots at it. It just didn't go in.

Everything was right, everything about my technique was good. Sometimes when you're shooting, you feel a little cold and that's a factor. But tonight I just felt confident at the free throw line.

I did what I always do, and I went 1-for-10. I took the same shots, took my four 3s, drove to the basket a few times, but I didn't get the free-throw line as much as I usually do. They did a good job of not fouling me.

Our effort was good. Our girls tried to get shots. We had the opportunity to tie or go ahead. I think we were down by one and we came up short on a couple of shots. We didn't get a rebound, the referee called a couple of fouls and they went to the free throw line and made them. Their No. 21 (Peterson) had a good game attacking the basket. We just had a tough night.
