Tiffany is a young pitcher who is still learning. We're finding out what he can and can't do at this level, and we just have to make a few adjustments.

Good hitters make adjustments and he has been making adjustments. You don't do that, you're not going to survive at this level, but he's been doing that.

Their pitcher was great. We didn't make the adjustments on his curve.

It's very difficult to make changes at the Major League level, because these guys want to be successful. They've been doing this for quite a while with other instructors. So I'm coming in with small adjustments, not major adjustments.

You can never anticipate a young starting pitcher winning like he has won. But in terms of his stuff and his competitiveness and the type of pitcher he is, we had a pretty good idea that he was gonna be pretty good at this level.

Tiffany would really like to restrict secondary sales of its products, as this would then force people to buy exclusively from Tiffany. The net effect would be to increase Tiffany's sales.

Their pitcher gets out on the mound and handed us our lunch. The kids did not make any adjustments. They all still tried to pull the ball.

I think a lot depends on the weather conditions. If it's raining hard like last week it makes it tough for us pass. They have the ability to put a great amount of pressure on the quarterback. We expect them to make some adjustments defensively and it's up to us to make adjustments to their adjustments.

We certainly thought we could go 3-0 this week, but we won only two, and those were the two wins we needed. Our problem (against Clay) was we were too aggressive and we didn't work the pitcher. Instead, (Kenny) worked us. If we don't make the adjustments we need to make, I'm afraid we might have a shorter season than we anticipated.

He's got the makings, the talents, the tools of a big-league pitcher, and he's learning how to pitch. He's learning how to set hitters up. In the past, he might try to strike everybody out, because he's got such good stuff. We've got to teach him about pitching, and he's learning.

Do we have a basic blueprint in place in the district to make sure they are learning what they need to be learning at a state level?

If we do see any slowdown in the market or any back-up from rates, the higher end purchaser is the one less likely to change their behavior and Tiffany benefits from that, ... Tiffany clearly has had an amazing run, so far, this year. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. We've held it for about year and a half now. I don't recommend this level at -- as entry point, but it's a great stock to watch and look for an entry point.

Given the situation Tiffany was put into this year, she's done a great job handling the pressure of sharing her knowledge and experience with the freshmen. One of Tiffany's strengths is that she follows up her words with the way she plays; she's a great leader by example and we all see from Tiffany that hard work really does lead to being a great basketball player.

I'm not only proud of what Hector has accomplished at age 35, as far as learning how to pitch and making adjustments, but he has put his body in the best shape he ever had in his life. His makeup and character are at [such] a high level that it makes our clubhouse a better place to be.

That's something you hear about forwards. Bigger. Faster. Stronger. That's not Tiffany. And that's not a slap on her. That's actually a compliment to her because she's different than all other forwards in the country. She's so technical and has the ability to elude people so well with her running and her ball skills. Tiffany will make you miss several times and embarrass you, which is a lot more fun to watch sometimes.
