en It was hard in the beginning: coming from Haiti, coming to Brooklyn. I mean, growing up in the projects.

You take it too lightly, and you look back on it and wish you would have worked harder.

en When I first heard Bob Marley I was 12 years old. I had just come to the United States from Haiti, and was living in the Marlborough Houses in Brooklyn.

en Development cannot take place without projects coming but projects should also not cause any problems to the people. So if these problems are taken care of, projects are welcome.

en Many of these projects, which were discovered in the mid-1990s or even earlier, were put on the shelf when prices drifted below US$350. But these are the kind of projects that are coming back on stream.

en Our guests, when they arrive on board, they are going to see that. When they depart, they are going to see it, so there is no detraction for the arrival or departure here coming into Brooklyn.

en They were coming at us so we just had to take it up a level and go right back at 'em. There was a little bit of nerves [at the beginning] and we just calmed down.
