en We're living in the modern age now. I call it the Year of the Matrix. Back in the day, you had these mixed-tape circuits where if you wanted to get (unreleased) music to your fans, you could go through DJs. Now all our fans have to do is go to their phones, and they'll be the first ones to hear something. And we're not talking about a ring tone here. We're talking about downloading a whole song, or a video.

en When people have downtime they love playing with their mobile phones. So instead of playing a game of Tetris or buying their next ring tone, browsing for music and downloading a full track -- it's a natural and good thing.

en That's where the growth is. The chart is dominated by hip-hop, in part because it sounds OK as a polyphonic ring tone. Most types of music don't. With a master tone, that problem goes away. You could bring in soccer moms, Joe six-pack, country fans.

en Fans don't want to hear about money when you are talking about a player who makes $9 million a year,

en Each of us had our own themes. Mine was focused around talking to them about the importance of our fans and what the fans mean to the club and what we need to do to make sure that the fans are well-cared for.

en I am very excited about all that's been happening. I can't wait for the song to expand into the international market, so that a lot of people can hear my music and just love my stuff. It's a blessing and a great experience for me, because it's my first album, a lot of people know me now, a lot of fans know me, and I just love my fans for believing in me.

en We try to use that to keep your fans in contact, keep your fans knowing what's going on, and keep people all around the world -- not just U.S. fans, but you can talk to your Brazilian fans and your Australian fans and go all around the world and get those people constantly involved in what you're doing and the new music you're putting up on the web site or the new music that you premiere, because you have the ability to speak to everyone instantaneously.

en I go to the ballgames and I'm talking to the fans, and not the players. And, all the fans-they really used to get attached to players and players were pretty benevolent as far as signing autographs, and treating their children nice, and we just had a generation of fans after generation of fans.

en We all grew up on music and we all lean in a certain direction -- we're all fans of '90s alternative rock, we're all fans of The Beatles and we're all fans of Zeppelin -- but we could go anywhere from there. If somebody comes up with something good, we don't say it has to sound like this or that. We don't like having a 'formula.' We want our own identity, so we don't hold ourselves back on anything.

en Everybody's talking about going back [home]. It's been a long break. We're excited to get in front of our fans again and thank them for supporting us through this whole year off.

en Thousands of fans travel from all 50 states and more than 20 countries to Nashville for CMA Music Festival each year. With 'The Road to CMA Music Festival,' we are taking some of our brightest stars directly to the fans so they can experience for themselves the powerful relationship between our fans, the artists and the music. And of course, we want them to join us in Nashville in June to experience the Festival on a large scale, too.

en I'd like to first thank radio and all of his fans for their love and support during this time. Cass will continue to make great music, but in a positive way, educating the youth that violence is never the answer. We'll do the rest of the talking with the music.

en For years, racing fans of all ages have been playing the Ridge Racer and Pole Position franchises on virtually all video game platforms. With the same speed, quality graphics and energizing sounds found on home consoles, fans can now enjoy burning rubber on their mobile phones.

en Also, just straight off the bat, we went in, had some lunch, talked about music, and we went back to our little studio here. It wasn't planned or anything, but we ended up working on a song right then. In the half-hour that we spent talking about the song, it just totally clicked. It just worked. You could feel it. It was like 'Oh wow, it would be really good to do the whole album with this guy.' It was fun.
