China will, along with various parties, continue its support to the diplomatic efforts aiming at an early and appropriate solution to this issue within the framework of the IAEA.

Now that we see difficulties in seeking a solution to this issue, we are willing to stay in close contact with all parties concerned so as to continue to seek the resolution of this issue within the framework of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency).

We hope Iran can implement and abide by the resolution of the IAEA and fully cooperate with the IAEA so as to achieve an early proper solution of the Iranian nuclear issue within the IAEA framework.

China believes that using diplomatic means within the framework of the Agency (IAEA) to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue is conducive to peace and stability in the region concerned, is conducive to safeguarding the international non-proliferation regime, and is in line with the fundamental interests of all parties.

Even with the adoption of this IAEA resolution, it is the belief of most of the members there that a diplomatic solution is the way out within the framework of the IAEA.

China believes that the continuation of the diplomatic efforts remains the wise option for the solution of the Iranian nuclear issue.

We are going to support the main conclusion contained in the new IAEA report which stresses the need to continue working within the IAEA framework,

The Iranian side mentioned it was ready to maintain cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency and would seek to solve the matter under the framework of the IAEA. Iran said it would like to work with the IAEA to seek an appropriate solution to this matter.
