en I am very pleased that Chad will lend his experience and knowledge to NCTAF. Chad's passion to improve education will be an incredible asset to the board.

en I have a lot of respect for Chad. For someone to come over (from in-line skating) and do what he's done for the sport is unfathomable. You wouldn't expect someone to be so versatile, especially at his age (28). I want to see Chad do well. But we're all fighting for the same thing. It's normal to have hard feelings sometimes.

en I don't care if they get five kids off the playground, they will play us tough over here. Chad is a great coach and I knew he would have them ready.

en Chad hounded me for while out there and I was just sticking to my lines. As the track wore out it just got harder and I knew that it would be harder for Chad to get by me. We got our back against the wall and I'm going to try to win every race from here on out.

en I knew the coach and he got me into it. What I liked about wrestling is that it was an individual sport, but in the same time, what you did individually also helped the team out as a whole.

en When the BC job came open I was interested. I knew the program and its history of coaches from both as a player and a coach. en Coach watches every game. I knew that and embraced it. He's the greatest coach in the history of basketball. What he did in college basketball will never be repeated. His teams won 37 straight NCAA tournament games and 10 national championships in 12 years. You know how everyone wants to be like Mike -- Michael Jordan -- as a player? Every coach wants to be like John. So I don't feel a shadow. I embrace it.

She's a talented player, but as a person, she's even better.
